Tea and DoubtEveryone is doing an awesome abstract noun for our last seminar - and apparently the Victorians were plagued by doubt. Does that make us Victorian? Or more likely, are we all lost in wondering? Last night I ran away - I had written with the assurance of the authoritative textbook, until sweet light-of-day life showed me that my words are merely a crowd of enigmas, mistaken and then forsaken on the scrap heap of too many make-you-smile endeavours. This is very exciting. Got first email from the Florio soc, who meet in Magdalen. Everyone submits a poem anonymously on a very loose general theme, then we all meet up, drink too much wine and discuss them. Then we reveal who wrote what! I imagine it would be painfully embarrassing if your poem got completely slated... But this is going to help so much!

Oh I'm excited.

i have a message for you from the infamous one. she asked me to give it to you next time i saw you online which hasn't been for ages so thought maybe you'd see it if i left it here. Received it late at night a couple of weeks ago asking me to tell you she didn't do it because of you. Hope that makes sense to you coz it sure don't to me but hey i'm just the messenger.
